Closing the Chakras

By Antraeus de Herschia

“When you move beyond the vision prisons of historical definitions and release your heart to love, a superbly crafted etheric antenna unfolds from the luminous envelope that surrounds your body in light. This antenna behaves like a sensitive planet. When the heart is anxious, when emotions are troubled or turbulent, it remains closed. But when the heart relaxes in love, its delicate gossamer flowers unfold, like a tree coming into bloom, providing you with a sophisticated etheric organ designed to receive the information that circulates in the universal sea of Being. The seven flowerlike disks of the etheric antennae are anchored I the glands of the endocrine system. These glands bridge spirit and matter. They are the biological receptors that translate the higher-frequency information picked up by the etheric discs (the chakras of yogic tradition) into language the nervous system can recognise. They are designed to audit ultrafine frequencies, bringing both sensory and what some would call extrasensory impressions into your awareness. The etheric antenna is damaged by violent emotions such as anger or hatred. It is never in any danger from outside emotions, only from your own. It can remain open for months even in the midst of violent emotion, as long as you remain calm and continue to feel love for those around you. However, when your love is withheld, your etheric antenna closes, and then there are no shortcuts. Your heart must be returned again to God; it must resume the expression of love. And even then, time is required before your etheric antenna’s full sensitivity is restored.”
- Ken Carey (The Third Millennium. Living in the Posthistoric World, HarperSanFrancisco, New York, US, 1991, p.92-93).

One of the most important things to know about meditation, ironically, is that the ‘chakras’ should be consciously closed at the end. Yet, few people appear to understand this. The word chakra is Sanskrit for wheel. The chakras are etheric energy vortexes along the spine, with a back and front. [Foot note: In his book The Shift. The Revolution in Human Consciousness, Owen Waters discusses the correlation between the ‘twelve memes of social progress and the twelve faces of the seven major chakras: the root, crown and other five chakras, front and back]. They also resemble flowers which naturally open during meditation or when people open up emotionally or spiritually, like in an intimate conversation. But they do not need to be open and, afterwards, they should be closed. We have to do this consciously. When we go out into the world, we unconsciously sense that it isn’t that safe and naturally close a bit, but not enough. Closing the chakras keeps one self-contained; sane, in other words. One can feel high, or buzzy, leaving them open but one can also become deluded. Negative people and spirits are likely to see our light, draw on our energy and influence us negatively. I have experienced this and then realised that I had forgotten to close my chakras after meditating. I was warning someone to do this for ages and he stubbornly dismissed it as a stupid idea. I saw him turn into a ‘demon’ a couple of times...not literally, but just uncharacteristically angry and aggressive for a moment. It reminded me of Bilbo Baggins, played by Ian Holms in Peter Jackson’s adaptation of Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring where he suddenly grow grotesque, transformed by greed because he is so attached to the Ring and too weak to control himself when put to the test. I knew it was a dark spirit filling him with nastiness and he didn’t even know he was doing it really so he wouldn’t have admitted to it. Then he joined a mediumship circle and the leader immediately warned him to close his chakras and she was shocked that never did!

Intention is the key to individuality, to individual identity, to individual purpose, to individual power and to individual awakening. Intention is the key to the lead safe that houses all of our gold. Transformation from lead to gold can also be viewed in this way: as gold containing and separating us form the gold that is already there; our eternal Spirit in other words. Intention has many levels from unconscious to unconscious, from inactive and inert to active and fully alive. Accordingly, the chakra that corresponds to any area of your consciousness, and therefore also your life, which you desire, wish and intend to be fully operational and to fully live and express yourself will, likewise, be fully activated and fully-functional. It will be animated, charged with energy. The flowers open in those areas of our life and consciousness in which we flourish: we flower. However, even with this full intention and state of consciousness, this level of identity and creative power, the open chakra, or flower, still has other degrees of depth that might not have been tapped, levels of being and awareness that have yet to become incarnate.

So, to have some chakras (front or back) closed (in the sense of being inert) suggests that we are lazy or fearful in those areas, or that we simply do not care about them. We are therefore incomplete and imbalanced and where there is lack we are bound to attract experiences that will impishly pinch us or even give us a kick up the jacksy to get us moving in those areas, to wake us up, to remind us that something needs to be done, an issue needs to be resolved, attention needs to be given to that area of our lives and our consciousness. Intention needs to be applied and awakened in that particular realm. In my case, primarily, I have not cared about my social life for a long time. I have not given it hardly any of my time, thought or energy let alone focussed on it. Fundamentally, I have only been interested in knowing like-minded people and I have not been meeting such individuals 'naturally' even if I have finally found many life-minded friends on the internet in recent years. It is a very conservative attitude. The core of my social life is me and it is so exclusive that it is barely open to anyone else because socialising is just too much hard work, because, perhaps, people do not trust or respond to me enough, in Britain at least, because they tend to fear my power, my individuality, my truth and because I find it boring talking to people on their level (or I simply cannot do it). Even so, it is a big lesson for me to learn to make a connection somehow, not necessarily a mental connection, but an emotional one, and energetic connection. As St Germain says, this can even be silent if one wishes it so.

This has meant that my sacral chakra was completely closed for a few years and is not yet fully open now. It does not really mean that I am not sociable, loving and generous but that priority is given to my own isolated creative, practices and interests and studies. I have often been surprised that I have enjoyed people=s company even though I would never have actively sought them out or naturally gravitated towards them. I have not honoured Oneness, the Goddess, the feminine aspect of life and consciousness. I have become too busy for other people, particularly for people who are not on a similar wavelength to me and with whom the communication might well scramble along awkwardly before imminently falling flat on its sad, clown-like face. I have also been fearful of certain emotions and certain types of people as well as unconsciously denying myself the ability or right to receive love from others. I have also not valued or appreciated other people enough and even eventually became so 'independent' that I prided myself on not needing people and not having emotions. Completely ludicrous, of course, since I am a highly emotional person really, at least in this life, even though I may have neglected emotions for many lifetimes previously. So, my belief pattern which stems way back prior to this current incarnation, is that I do not need to deal with those aspects of my consciousness. In my present condition, this is a very dangerous belief system! The result is that I repress highly-charged emotions that are begging for release and natural, spontaneous expression. It is time to wake up and know that I NEED to go out and actively seek people I can get on with. And ULTIMATELY, I need to realise that we are all One and that it is perfectly healthy and absolutely imperative to share love and joy with ANYONE, with any stranger I might encounter and to whom the Love that I AM naturally wishes to shine upon. The only filter for this expression is emotion, which might respond to people differently, which might be more openly expressed towards certain people or in certain situations.

All thought, all thinking - the lower mind - is but a brick in the wall that separates the ego from the collective consciousness. Essentially, we are all One. I am you and you are me. We are reflections of each other (OK, I am now simply mimicking St Germain! - I AM, in fact, expressing a higher truth within myself that I express fully as yet. I am learning - awakening - in other words). If you do not think (so much) then you only feel (feel more than think) and if you only feel then you open the door to love - providing it is also your intention to be all that you can be, to grow and to be happy. I guess, as with anything, one must start somewhere. If a particular area in my life is defunct it is still possible to come out of hiding and walk among the rubble, to see what's left and what might be out there. The town cannot be rebuilt in one day, perhaps, but one step may lead to another until eventually a thriving town has been established. And it might all have occurred without much effort if it was one's conscious intention to flourish in that realm of life and consciousness.

It seems that my Sacral Chakra has been closed as a result of feeling disconnected with society, not fitting in, not belonging to any group in fact. In addition, I have been focussing mostly on several creative projects without being able to finish any of them and offer them to the world which will provide me with a new connection to society. Although I have been living in a social wilderness, this has been a very creative period for me even though it is not therapeutic and uplifting like art and music. I miss the energy (and the high, the opportunity to transcend thought) I used to derive from such pursuits dearly and I believe that it compensated for my feeling of social alienation in the past (which relationships have also done when they are part of my life). I always got a special buzz from writing songs and then playing them for several months afterwards. Now, it appears, it is at last time to venture back down the mountain and share what I have found even though I have but completed one book. Nevertheless, there is potential to share something with the world and achieve more of a balance between work and – cough – ‘everything else.’

I'm told I don't want to be here so that's the problem! But it makes a good contrast for waking up to light. Boing! Well, no I can't say I do like being on this planet with all my hardships. I was suicidal for years. It's going to improve though, especially with ascension. The Sacral Chakra corresponds to one’s relationship to life, which is basically emotional. Our foundation is our consciousness of primal oneness with everything which includes, on a personal, or private, level how we feel about life. And, people are a part of that so it’s about how much we trust life and people and open up and embrace them.

“Some other (more positive) side effects from the equinox punch are occasional deepening of present moment awareness...which is giving us the ability to finally focus attentively on our creations that we have been dying to birth and without scattering our energy/focus elsewhere...the slow return of passion (sexual and creative) as our sacral/root chakras wake from deep slumber, and the occasional/random/fleeting feelings that our long-held dreams are actually possible.” Lauren C Gorgo ‘Letting Go of Our Ascension Story,’ 26 March 2010, www.consciousco-creationalcoaching.blogspot.com/2010/03/letting-go-of-our-ascension-story.html).

One powerful thing that we can do is verbally affirm and consciously intend that those areas of our lives corresponding to chakras that are not sufficiently active in our etheric-physical systems BE fully operational, fully energised and active. We can specifically intend to focus on those areas of our lives with which we struggle, which we ignore or from which we tend to intentionally withdraw for one reason or another. Attempting to unblock and energise the chakras directly is only a temporary measure. One has to actually use the energy, to direct it in the corresponding area of life/consciousness. Unless there is a change in consciousness, in attitude and behaviour, a new interest and level of expression in that area, the chakra itself will close up again. However, if one intends to be fully expressive and active in that domain, and affirms this intention frequently, one is very likely to feel it more and realise that this really was ones intention all along. It was simply that, owing to certain experiences and certain beliefs and thought patterns, blockages had formed and caused us to forget who and who we really are in that aspect of consciousness which clothes our true Being, our God Self. This practice can, I believe, be effective in regard to all of the chakras, including the higher Light body chakras beyond the seven that are situated within the physical vehicle. It is probably a naturally more sequential progression from the Crown chakra to the 8th to the 9th and so on. As one reactivates one's connection to the higher self, one unfolds in a more ascending path: from releasing the past and moving on, to universal forgiveness and acknowledging love as the essence of all, and so forth (that=s as high as I dare to fathom personally at present!).

You are reminding yourself of the intentions that you as a physical ego have forgotten but that you as a spirit continuously intend. You are waking up. It is a bit like forgetting your physical body when you sleep. We are dreaming and forget our whole self.

As we grow spiritually, the higher chakras are activated until we realise our eternal Self at the Crown. There are other chakras located above the crown but, of course, they don’t get activated until one reaches a very high level of self-mastery. Deepak Chopra’s tenth chakra is said to be ‘open’ (confusingly, another word for ‘active’) though and Sai Baba’s chakras are open beyond the 15th! He is also said to be surrounded by a 30-foot aura of pink energy: Divine Love! When I sat in silence among his devotees in Puttapathi in 1991, I realised that, by slowly waving his hand in that sublime manner with his palm facing upwards, he was moving energy around everyone. I could feel it. I had a couple of visions as well. I have met a few people who focus on him all the time and receive all kinds of visions and magical offerings. I have had contact with Sai Baba in meditation and dreams on occasion since. St Germain (speaking through Ashamarae) recommends that we say out loud, ‘I am full of love,’ and repeat this 11 times (whilst looking in a mirror, holding a glass of water or in the presence of someone close to us). Since learning about this in January 2008 I have been trying to practice it once a day. Half the time I do it during a walk. On one such walk, I made a note: ‘Feeling love is feeling your true self is it not?’ St Germain adds that the reason for repeating this affirmation 11 times is that we have 11 chakras which respond to the physical voice and become activated by this process (since Sai Baba is a god, I take this to mean that 11 is the number of chakras accessible to everyone else!). Then again, Lady Kadjina, who is in the same team as St Germain in the Ascended Master realm, mentions that there are ’10 primary chakras’ (31 March 2001, www.crawford2000.co.uk/kadj1.htm). An update by Sheldan Nidle for the Spiritual Hierarchy and the Galactic Federation refers to our 13-chakra system: “the 13 chakras that characterise a galactic human.” (8 April 2009, www.snoedel.punt.nl/index.php?id=438461&r=1&tbl_archief=&). There is now some excellent information on the higher chakras in the Hermes Reality Creator series of books by Hermes Trismegistus (channelled through Tom DeLiso). He says that the 8th chakra is the first of the spiritual chakras. I highly recommend the article provided on www.wisdomsdoor.com/hb/hhb 22.shtml. In addition, Archangel Michael describes each of the chakras up to the thirteenth in an article channelled through Celia Fenn (see Appendix LXXXIX). There is a wonderful meditation exercise by Archangel Michael called ‘Opening The Seven Seals of God-Consciousness’ which you might want to check out (channelled through Ronna Herman, 28 June 2009, www.ronnastar.com). [Foot note: According to Rev. Cassandra Anaya, “There are 7 principle chakras, 4 secondary chakras, 1 etheric chakra, 8 minor chakras, and hundreds of lessor chakras throughout the body.” (www.circle-of-light.com/Chakras). A description of Diana Cooper’s CD The Twelve Chakras suggests that, “In Atlantis everyone had twelve operational chakras and twelve strands of DNA.” Some healers are saying that the chakra system is changing and that the chakras which have existed above the head are now in the body and that new ones have started to emerge, such as the Higher Heart Chakra in the Thymus region. Joshua David Stone even claims that there is a new Ascension chakra at the back of the head, in the upper region. He also explains: “Melchizedek told us that there are 48 dimensions that need to be realised to achieve cosmic ascension. As one evolves, the chakras descend downward. At the taking of your sixth initiation, your sixteenth chakra is in your crown chakra. I conscientiously began calling for these higher chakras to descend. By doing this I believe I accelerated my evolution way beyond anything I had ever done before.” (Golden Keys to Ascension and Healing, p.42). I have read somewhere on the net that a totally new chakra system is, or has been, implemented. It sounds like this is being installed in conjunction with the new crystalline body and will, likewise, be activated at the pace of one’s personal spiritual growth and adjustment as we are able to hold more of the Light that is on Earth now. We are evolving rapidly now and this new system of thirteen chakras represents the new Crystal human angel. Barefoot Doctor mentions an important enery centre in the top of the head, at the front, which relates to ‘intention,’ but then his medicine bag is something of a tardis when it comes to weird and wonderful ‘points’ – anatomical, metaphysical and philosophical to boot!].

In order to close the chakras one can imagine wrapping oneself in something, like a bag or sheet, but this always seemed a bit crude and ‘uncomfortable’ for me. I have developed a system that I use every time. It was a bit difficult at first but I persevered and now it’s easy because I am used to visualising the colours. Each chakra is said to have a basic colour, or energy-vibration, in that these energy centres resonate with the seven colours of the rainbow. One could imagine them as flowers closing. I imagine them as cavities with coloured-glass lids which I close one-by-one. The stained-glass image helps me to see the energy there more vividly, thus ostensibly increasing it. They used to be more elaborate, with gold rims, but I grew lazy! I liked the idea of gold serving as extra protection. I have, on occasion, also visualised these lids being polished with a cloth to make them clear and capable of expressing more energy with the intention of causing them to vibrate at the highest level. However, these days, I ask for my vibration to be doubled during meditation anyway.

One needs to start at the crown chakra and work one’s way down. The Crown chakra is violet, so I imagine a violet-coloured glass lid closing (sliding across). At the beginning, it would usually take some time to see the colour vividly but, nowadays, I see them easily, so the procedure is quick. It is half-seeing and half-sensing. The Third eye is indigo (deep blue) in colour, the Throat is ‘blue’ (an aqua or turquoise shade). The Heart is green; Solar Plexus yellow; Sacrum orange and the Root chakra at the base of the spine is red. To end, I imagine a ball of white light beneath my feet, in the middle, which unfolds spreading white light all around me. Actually, these days, I often just imagine an oval outline of white light appearing around myself, around my aura, starting at the ball of white light beneath my feet. If I feel that I need extra protection, I also imagine a cross of white light appearing at the front of my body, centred in the heart area. I make the cross seal by imagining a beam of white light from head to toe and then another from left to right.

There is a section at the end of the Mahatma Energy Meditation on www.riselikeaphoenix.com/mahatmaenergymeditation.htm which emphasises the importance of closing the chakras (albeit moving in the opposite direction, from root to crown, although my understanding is that moving upwards facilitates opening rather than closing them). The technique provided is as follows:

“Visualise yourself in powerful white protective light, flooding all your chakras and see yourself placed in a column of white light at least 6ft in diameter encasing your entire being. Then...

a) Visualise Base chakra as Red flower, staying open. Visualise your legs turning into two trees, see the roots going deep into the ground, 1000's of feet into the earth, spreading in all directions, feel your loving connection with the centre of the earth.

b) Visualise Sacral chakra as Orange flower closing into bud!
c) Visualise Solar chakra as Yellow flower closing into bud!
d) Visualise Heart chakra as Green flower closing into bud!
e) Visualise Throat chakra as Light Blue flower closing into bud!
f) Visualise Third Eye chakra as Indigo flower closing into bud!
g) Visualise Crown chakra as Violet flower closing into bud!”

In a meditation provided by Gildas in A Message of Love (by Ruth White with Gildas, Judy Piatkus Ltd, London, 1994, p.101-102), one visualises a “cross of light in a circle of light” as a blessing resting over the petals of the chakras, starting at the root and working one’s way up to the heart, by taking six breath-steps between each one. “The crosses and circles of light,” he explains, “prevent energy ‘loop backs’ into the lower chakras.” From the heart onwards, there is no need to use the light symbol as before, adds Gildas. Once one reaches the crown chakra, one takes a further six breath-seps back down to the brow. In this place, one can choose to hold an issue in mind for which one would like to receive guidance (which may involve the expectation of meeting one’s spirit guide) for ten to fifteen minutes. To finish, one returns to the crown and then commences the journey back down to the root, always taking the six steps between each chakra, blessing the crown and then re-blessing each of the others with the light symbol as one revisits them. Finally, he advises, “Put your feet firmly on the ground and surround yourself with a cloak of white light with a hood. In this way you take light with you, wherever you go, without being open and vulnerable.”

It is possible to ‘dome’ people who are causing trouble, although I have never done this since it feels too much like interfering with someone’s free will. I do believe it can be justified, however. I am just not familiar with it. One imagines a dome of white light around the person with the effect of separating them psychically from the social environment, thereby protecting others and/or oneself. (Evelyn Field provides a list of visualisation techniques for creating some form of force field for the purpose of self-protection in her book Bully Busting, page 197). The Ascension Handbook contains the following recommendation:

“The unified chakra prevents the traditional focus of the separate chakra system that was so selective of the energy it handled. If you perceived anger or power being directed at you, you responded unconsciously with, say, the first chakra (fear), or with the third (power). So you either fled or stood your ground. A whole new pattern occurs with the unified chakra. You respond from your entire being, including Spirit, so you’ll throw a heavy dose of love into the energy stew. You may say and do the same things as at the ego level, but the other person’s fields will get the love energy and be somewhat confused initially. They attacked you, yet they feel this warm glow inside. In the confusion, one or both of you will smile and suddenly the tension is broken. So the unified chakra is the perfect panacea for all that ails you. But when about using it for constructive ends rather than just warding off destruction?” – Serapis (channelled through Tony Stubbs, An Ascension Handbook, p.88, The Book Guild Ltd, Sussex, 1991. See also Ariel’s long invocation for unifying the chakras in What Is Light Body?).

A wonderful Spiritual Counsellor, Holistic Healer and Energy Worker (all-round Shamanic Master) named Ayal Hurst recommends a chakra-clearing technique that works along these lines. Starting from the Root Chakra, you visualise a beautiful, glowing, gently spinning wheel of light of that chakra’s corresponding colour (red, and so forth). “You ask with each chakra that it be restored 100% to perfect health, form, and functioning - that whatever needs to be restored, be restored, and whatever needs to be corrected, be corrected…ask silently that each area you are visualising be cleared and brought back to perfect health and functioning.” (www.trans4mind.com/healing). She also adds: “Even if you are not adept at being visual or seeing these colours, just by saying to yourself that that colour is there, it will begin to work for you. To finish, surround yourself with a beautiful, glowing white light, and see it totally filling you up from head to toe as well. There are actually minor chakras (light intersection points or energy vortexes) in the body as well, besides the above-mentioned main ones - 144 to be exact - and what I do with them is simply ask that they all be lit up with white light, sort of imagining myself like a bright starry sky or a lit up Christmas tree.” (I also recommend reading her comprehensive article on chakras here: www.trans4mind.com/counterpoint/shamanic8.shtml).

I’d like to share my friend Matt’s revelation about the association between the levels of the chakras and the colours of the natural world around us:

“So now that I eat raw organic vegetarian food I get all my nutrients strait from the plants who get their energy and nutrients strait from the Earth and Sun. Why get the processed energy of plants when we can get it strait from the Sun. That is when SunGazing comes in. It is totally possible to get All of our energy from the Sun. By looking into the sun at sunrise or sunset each day, we can receive energy from the Sun. It is also necissary to ground this energy by walking barefoot on solid Earth (dirt) each day after sungazing. Hira Ratan Manek is the Leading Teacher of sungazing and the procedure is easy. It was practiced by all indigenous cultures all around the earth, and is mentioned in the Vedic Texts.

Our chakras tell us that energetically we resemble the structue of a plant. Our Root Chakra - red - connects us to the earth. The Hara or Navel gives us pleasure and creativity and is Orange. The Solar Plexus associated with giving and receiving for manifestation – Yellow. And Anahata the Heart Chakra colored Green like the leaves of a tree and provides us with Air and Universal Love of All. Blue is the colour of the Throat Chakra associated with communication like the radio towers in the sky and birds chirping. The Third Eye or Pineal Gland is Indigo and allows for Perception. Finally, the Crown Chakra is Ever-unfolding petals of Purple associated with Spiritual Consciousness. From the Roots up to the Leaves and a Flower on top we are energetic Plants. When we gaze at the sun, all the colours of the light spectrum shine into our eyes, which is then sent to the Pineal Gland. From there all the colours are sent to their appropriate spot in the body. Not only is this Light, it is Prana or Life Force Energy. There is no need for nutrients because all that our cells need is energy, nutrients are just a way to get energy, and so is Light.” [Matt is also into Jasmuheen, an inspiring Australian lady who says that St Germain asked her to share her wisdom of sungazing and whatnot with the world. She lives off what prahnic nourishment - the universal life force – and says that 70% of her nutrients come from fresh air].

“Each of you have a unique balancing to accomplish and a unique way of opening to do so. You all have various attachments of different sorts. You all have varying degrees of openness in your chakras. Some of you are very open. Some of you are very open in certain chakras and more closed in others. This will be opening so you may feel a little bit of processing going on. You may feel a great deal of processing going on. It is for you to trust and have faith and now that it is necessary for your growth, for the completion of your missions and tasks, and for your ascension.” - Archangel Michael (The Crystal Stair. A Guide to the Ascension by Eric Klein, Oughton House Publications, CA., U.S., 1990, p.93).

“The fourth boost of energy is focussed on the Solar Plexus Chakra which is where most people feel or store their emotions. Mastery of the emotions will be a key aspect of the spiritual growth and the obtaining of mastery at this time. Emotions hold a great power and can undo all the hard work of lovingly programming and training the mind. We must learn to accept our emotions, to understanding their presence and most important release negative emotions anchoring greater love and light into our emotional body and the Solar Plexus Chakra.” - The Community of Ascended Masters (channelled through Natalie Glasson, 10 September 2008, www.ditrianum.org/English/Channelings/AscendedMasters/0001.htm and www.wisdomofthelight.com).

“The energetic effects of the most recent shift has been one of great physical detoxification. Your biology is being rapidly purified due to the deepening expansion of light in your lower three dimensional vortexes. These three energy vortexes, also called chakras, are responsible for the creation of thought into physical matter.

The solar plexus is undergoing a deep purification to enable the full potential of your God power. The sacral chakra is undergoing a deep purification to enable the implementation of your co-creative desires. The root chakra is undergoing a deep purification to enable your full ability to ground these desires into physical form.

Once the purification process is complete, each of you will have the ability to represent the spiritual realms in the physical domain in a relatively unobstructed way. The result of this purification coupled with plugging into the proper grid for divine manifestation will yield the co-creation of heaven on earth.”

- Spiritual Hierarchy (Telepathic Transmission through Lauren C. Gorgo, ‘12:12 The Gateway of Completion,’ 25 November 2008, www.thinkwithyourheart.net).

“There are multitudes of chakra centres, and there are multitudes of potential helixes that can form. Right now, the common denominator with respect to the number of helixes and chakras that the consciousness of humanity can handle without destroying itself is twelve. So we are dealing right now with an evolvement of twelve helixes to plug into the twelve chakras as mentioned before, seven chakras in the body and five chakras outside the body. The seven chakras in the body are not too difficult to work with because, if you allow yourself to feel, you can physically touch and locate all of them. The first three are the chakras of survival, sexuality, and perceptual feeling. The fourth chakra is the heart-centre of compassion and connectedness to all things. The fifth is the throat chakra, which relates to speaking. The sixth is the third eye, the vision. The seventh is the crown chakra, which opens to the knowing that one's identity goes beyond the physical form. When you get to the five outside of the body you must begin to find new ways to figure out what is going on with something that you don't even know for sure is real.

The eighth chakra is within your realm of activity. It hovers twelve inches or more above your head. Most people keep the eighth chakra centre close to their physical body. The ninth chakra is close as well, within a few feet of the body. Once nine helixes are formed, this chakra will move out into the atmosphere of Earth to become more of an Earth chakra, connecting into the gridwork. It is a link.

The tenth, eleventh, and twelfth chakras are much further out. The tenth chakra, once it is in line and plugged in, will be in your solar system. The eleventh chakra will move out into your galactic system, and the twelfth will be located and anchored some place in this universe.

You will receive information from these personal centres, for they are collective centres as well, just as your other personal chakra centres are collective centres. As you learn to translate the chakra experiences, you will discover that life is not the same anymore.”

(Bringers of the Dawn by Barbara Marciniak, Bear & Company, Inc., Santa Fe, New Mexico, US, 1992, p.55-56).

According to a channelled transmission through Sheldon Nidle, we now have thirteen major energy centres in and around the physical body. There does not appear to be any mention here of chakras beyond the original seven; just these new additions:

“You may ask why your local Spiritual Hierarchy is suddenly integrating your physical and spiritual bodies. For what reason are they at this moment instituting four new chakras and creating a twelve-strand RNA/DNA? Simply put, the reason for all of this is that Mother Earth has decided to change herself most profoundly. The Spiritual Hierarchies, all the way up to the Creator, have given her full permission to transform and transmute into her pristine and fully-conscious self. Imagine being in a room in which the walls, the floors, and even the ceilings suddenly became electrified. It would be very difficult for you to continue to exist in that room unless you changed as well. That is why you need to become a fully-conscious Being.” - Sandara (‘Your new chakra system. Making the new you’ from Your First Contact by Sheldan Nidle, Blue Lodge Pr, 2000, quoted on www.2012unlimited.net/DNA_upgrades.html).

Salem, through Diandra, provides a method to clear the chakras of blockages which readers might find helpful: ‘Chakra Clearing. A Fundamental Tool for Expanding Consciousness & Self–Awareness’ (www.inwardjourney.com/tools/daily-Practice/chakraClearing.php). She also includes an article on her website titled, ‘Believe the Reality That You Are. Three Steps to Help You Move From Your Ego to the Reality That You Are’ (www.inwardjourney.com/tools/daily-Practice/realityThatYouAre.php) which is included below:

“To help you live life from the ‘Reality That You Are’ instead of from the ego, Salem has given three steps to incorporate into your daily-practice. The very first step, of course, is choosing to live your life in this manner, for the ego has a great time playing its role because it has lots of ego-friends to play with. So you must choose what you really want: Ego or Reality. Then incorporate these three steps into your daily practice.

Three Steps

  • Step 1 - At least once a day, and if possible twice a day (morning and night), clear your chakras. When the chakras are clear, perceptions no longer fuel the ego’s belief that what you are experiencing is a problem or a threat. You do not have to know what was the perception. You will feel differently and things you were fearful of you will now feel more confident to pursue. So clear your chakras! It is imperative and we cannot emphasise it enough. At least once daily, twice daily would be great, morning and night.
  • Step 2 - When you go to bed at night, set your intent that you want your consciousness clear enough and your subconscious in remission enough to bring the power of your higher self, the part of you that is the reality of love, into your consciousness. Bring that reality into your consciousness for guidance, clarity, direction, peace, and power that it just flows through you. If you need to include the ego then say, ‘Ego come along and look and you will see that you are safe and this is a better way.’
  • Step 3 - During your day, stop and read your own mind with three different types of experiences. Such as when you meditate, mow the lawn, watch television or a movie, etc. What is your mind saying, thinking, and feeling? How are your emotions? How are you responding and reacting to these experiences or situations? Are you in peace? Are you feeling safe? Is the experience enriching your power? Only you can answer these questions. So three times a day, every day, stop and check in with three different types of activities. Pay attention to how you are responding to your life. This should become a natural, contemplative, introspective look at how you are choosing to live your life on the planet.

We will tell you this: If you will be faithful to practising these three steps for a thirty-day period you will be a different person. You will feel differently. Things won’t bother you as much.

Disclaimer: Chakra clearing is a safe activity, but any type of meditative activity should not be done while operating machinery or any activity requiring your attention. See our Terms of Use.”

‘Kuthumi on the NEW 12 chakra system’ (channelled through Petra Margolis, 26 November 2007, www.ascendedmasters.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=59:november-26-2007-kuthumi-on-the-12-chakra-system&catid=34:kuthumi&Itemid=29).

I welcome you and I am here to assist you towards Ascension of yourself and the planet Earth. We are all here gathered together to give you the knowledge you need to accomplish this special process of ascension into the 5th dimension that is happening on your planet right now. Together with Sananda, Isis and Melchizedek, I have been working on making more information available in a way that is practical to use for your process towards your ascension. Messages and information are our main goal but we would like to provide you with something that you can actually use on a daily base if you like to.

[The] reason for bringing you this information that is focused on a specific part of your process, the integration of 5 new chakras inside your physical body.

You have all heard about the 7 basic chakra system and some of you know there are more than these 7 chakras, only they are outside of your physical body. Part of the Ascension process you are working towards is bringing in 5 new chakras into your physical body and to do this you have to work on clearing, balancing and have all 7 basic chakras fully opened. Once all 7 basic chakras are open the new chakras will start integrating and they will be settling in different places inside your body. These new chakras are called:

Seat of the soul
Spirit voice
5th dimension
Higher Self
Spirit Guide

Once this process is complete, chakra 13 called the Christ Consciousness or I Am Presence will be residing just above your crown chakra.

So first things first, this is working on the 7 basic chakras, clearing, balancing and being able to have them completely open at all times. While doing this you can also work on the new chakras. They are going to need some clearing and being outside of your body doesn’t mean they are not influenced by what is happening in the physical.

At this time your planet Earth is working on this process as well and she will just like you bring more chakras into the physical planet. One thing you can do to help with this process is set your intent while working on clearing and balancing your own chakras. Just set your intent that every part of you will help in assisting your planet earth in this process of clearing and balancing her chakras. Because everything you do has an effect on yourself but also the people around you and your planet benefits from this as well.

So what can you do to work in clearing and balancing the chakras? We have decided to bring out this information in book form since it has to be for daily use and we want to give as much information as possible. This E-book has all the information about the New 12 chakra system that we made available in our book The 7 Basic Steps Towards Ascension. Working on integrating and balancing these chakras is one of the 7 basic steps. But we have added something extra and this is a journey through all 12 chakras. This journey will teach you how to clear, balance and keep these chakras fully open at all times. This meditation will teach you what these chakras represent and why it is important to have them open and spinning at all times. This book also has full page pictures of each chakra so you can connect with them visually and with the energy they are representing.

We are working towards bringing more of these steps available for practical use in everyday life and we will be bringing out more information during this process. Just know that we are fully dedicated to your ascension at this time and we do not take this lightly. This is our main focus and we are here to assist you whenever you call upon us.

We love you and wish for you many blessings upon your path.

Kuthumi

“As you actively seek en-Lighten-ment and strive to return to balance and harmony within, it is important that you become aware of certain karmic limitations which your Soul has accepted as a learning experience in this lifetime. There are specific limitations and conditions that cannot be changed, and the lesson is to accept them gracefully and to strive for excellence within the framework of the boundaries that have been imposed upon you, not as a punishment but as an opportunity to balance discordant energy and thought patterns. However, we wish to emphasise, this lifetime is unique for every Soul on Earth; and no matter what circumstances you were born into, there is an opportunity for greatness and a reservoir of knowledge and talents needed to attain Self-mastery. You were designed to be a master of manifestation, a cocreator with God-given abilities. The first step is realising that you have programmed within your DNA Genius Potential and a broad spectrum of talents and abilities. You chose, before you incarnated, a set of circumstances with specific abilities which are more readily available than others. However, even though the full range of your gifts and talents is held in reserve, you have the ability to bring them to the fore so that you can begin to actualise, integrate and use them.

You must have access to the higher dimensional levels of the brain in order to make contact with your Soul-Self and the Beings of the higher realms. Your brain is composed of multiple levels of consciousness. The lower brain and the three lower chakras are the realm of humanity’s animal/human consciousness. It is mostly instinctive, drawing much of its information from the collective consciousness of the astral plane as well as from the Earth’s consciousness. Survival and the ego desire body are in control of the masses’ thoughts/desires and thus form the prevalent picture of reality. The focus is on the external, material world and on service to self.

As your consciousness moves into the mid-level brain activity, you begin the process of becoming a spiritual/human Being and your feeling nature gradually moves up to incorporate the heart and the throat chakra. A gradual awakening process begins as your Soul nudges you onto the path of awareness, and the journey of ascension begins. An aspirant on the path must traverse the astral plane and gain control of the emotional/astral body and the lower nature (the three lower chakras), which will open the pathway to the refined frequencies of cosmic truth via your Higher Self, guides, teachers and angelic helpers. Harmlessness in thought, word and deed with focused observation abilities are important traits of a Self-master. You must clear the mind of distorted, negative, defeating thoughts before you can become a transmitter of Light in the darkness.”

“Many lightworkers are familiar with the traditional form of energetic protection: the light bubble that shields you from others as you go about your daily life or face a particularly challenging energetic situation.

Our use of energetic protection has recently evolved, and we now protect you without the need for a bubble of light - Archangel Michael weaves energetic shielding fibres into your energy field to ensure they flex, grow and clear in conjunction with each unique energetic challenge that you face. Therefore, we ask that you release this old method and 'outsource' all your protection by simply asking us to permanently protect you with the most advanced level of energetic protection we have brought to the planet.

Since the planet raised her vibration and welcomed vast numbers of new light beings, we can now be literally alongside you at all times of day and night, and therefore we take on the task of protecting your energy field. The bubble can interfere with our ability to do so, for it blocks our presence by your side, so please ask for assistance and then trust us to undertake this greatest of honours on your behalf, for life.”
