 Back to Treasures & Trials

May the stars carry your sadness away,
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty,
May hope forever wipe away your tears,
And, above all, may silence make you strong.

~ Chief Dan George

“Drop the fear. The fear was taken up by you in your childhood, unconsciously. Now consciously drop it and be mature. Then the life can be a light which goes on deepening as you go on growing.” ~ Osho.

“The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed." ~ Buddha.

“The difficult part is for a soul to live, day by day, in a dark world, absorbing the lessons which the outer life is intended to teach. Above all, we would ask you to cast out all fear. If you persevere with this one lesson for even just a few weeks, at the end of that time you will realise what a great step forward you have taken. Be without fear. Surrender to God. You will be filled with love and light; you will help the world forward towards peace and will help all those who are in darkness because they are full of fear – even your so-called enemies.” ~ White Eagle (channelled through Grace Cooke, The Light Bringer. The Ray of John and the Age of Intuition, The White Eagle Publishing Trust, Liss, U.K., 2001, p.82-83).

“Along the way you have been presented with many challenges, and some have required a great deal of faith on your part. The path was never going to be smooth, as for eons of time through many lives you have fallen into the pattern of the lower vibrations. There is no judgement connected with it, as in truth you could not avoid such an outcome. The vibrations attracted many lower entities and they proceeded to use you for their own ends. However, everything is of a cyclic nature and you know fully well that your present one is about to end. You are also aware that it is a chaotic time as the old ways try to cling on, and the dark Ones go to extremes to prevent the changes but to no avail. What has been decreed will pass even if it is uncomfortable, and you will in the future marvel at what took place and feel privileged to have been part of it. Be sure to understand that many, many souls would have gladly taken your place, but you have all been chosen because of your potential to bring to each other the experiences you need. The end times are a perfect end to your time in duality, and again when you look back you will see how it has lifted you into a higher state of understanding and advanced your levels of spiritual understanding. In the full nature of everything you have experienced, you have tried all manner of incarnations and you have been through all the different religions and spiritual groups. To extend your understanding you have also spent time with the dark Ones, so that you could understand the different energies that motivated their ways of expression. That has been a feature of your many lives, and it is why we warn against being judgemental, because there are few situations that you have not experienced yourself. What you see around you today is in part your creation, and as a civilisation approaching the changes you are required to play your part in bringing back the Light that has been lacking.” ~ SaLuSa (channelled through Mike Quinsey, 22 November 2010).

“If you find fear arising on the screen of the mind, let it flow away, washed in My Love and turn to your heart, to the centre of your glorious being and let Love remind you of all that you are.” ~ The Messages from God (channelled through Yael & Doug Powell, 26 May 2011,

“Fear is the number one restriction to ascension. Fear is that which will inhibit the mass of humanity form ascending. We and you are here to eradicate this fear. We are here to reassure you. You who go on the first wave and return will be here to reassure others who are still in third-dimensional reality that there is nothing to fear. So when presenting this information you may encounter fear and confusion. This information does not go along with the programming even of those who are following a spiritual path. Many spiritual paths do not take into consideration that ascension is the ultimate goal. This is erroneous teaching, for ascension is the ultimate goal of spiritual growth. So you are right in saying ascension is the end result of spiritual growth and enlightenment on the third-dimensional plane of reality. It is the way that you access the next phase of your growth. There is growth form the fifth dimension up through the other dimensions leading all the way to the very throne of God.” ~ Archangel Michael (channelled through Eric Klein, The Crystal Stair. A Guide to the Ascension, Oughton House Publications, CA, US, 1990, p.101-102).

“I am already given to the power that rules my fate. And I cling to nothing, so I will have nothing to defend. I have no thoughts, so I will see. I fear nothing, so I will remember myself. Detached and at ease, I will dart past the Eagle to be free.” ~ don Juan (The Eagle's Gift by Carlos Castaneda, Pocket books, New York, U.S., 1982).

“If your dominant intention is to feel good and…if you try to make the best of where you are, you must reach your natural state of joy.” ~ Abraham (Ask and It is Given. Learning to Manifest Your Desires by Esther and Jerry Hicks, Hay House, Inc., CA, US, 2004, p.51).

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” - Kahlil Gibran.

"Knowing your own darkness is the best method of dealing with the darkness of other people." ~ Carl Jung.

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.” ~ Aristotle Onassis.

“Above the cloud with its shadow is the star with its light. Above all things reverence thyself.” ~ Pythagoras.

“Life is never easy for those who dream.” ~ Robert James Waller

“Free of all suffering, provided the supreme happiness, may we all attain Buddhahood.” ~ Kalu Rinpoche.

“People commonly feel that because I am considered a living Buddha, I must experience only serenity, perpetual happiness, and have no worries. Unfortunately, this is not so. As a high lama and incarnation of enlightenment, I know better.” ~ Kanju Kutush Tulku Rinpoche.

“We all walk in the dark and each of us must learn to turn on his or her own light.” ~ Earl Nightingale.

“Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” ~ Chinese Proverb.

“We all need to look into the dark side of our nature - that's where the energy is, the passion. People are afraid of that because it holds pieces of us we're busy denying.” ~ Sue Grafton.

“You are ever the Master of each experience. Even in your most abandoned states of seeming helplessness, you are the scripter of each iota of that experience. Yet if you will utilize determination and wisdom by owning the responsibility to reflect upon your situation, and to search diligently for the Law upon which being is established, you then become the wise master, directing your energies with intelligence, and fashioning thoughts to worthy focus and realization. One thought attracts another. Positive energy attracts more positive energy. One intelligent thought attracts another. Likewise when you dwell in self pity, depression and issues of poor self esteem, you draw more of these to you. That is the Law of Attraction.” – Metatron (channelled through Tyberonn, ‘The Law of Attraction - How & When it Works & Why it Doesn't - Part 3. The Law of Belief & Law of Conscious Creation,’ 6 December 2011,

"I have no right to call myself one who knows. I was one who seeks, and I still am, but I no longer seek in the stars or in books; I’m beginning to hear the teachings of my blood pulsing within me. My story isn’t pleasant, it’s not sweet and harmonious like the invented stories; it tastes of folly and bewilderment, of madness and dream, like the life of all people who no longer want to lie to themselves." - Hermann Hesse (Demian).

Life's a beach

Intoxicated with the madness, I'm in love with my sadness...
I never let on, that I was on a sinking ship
I never let on that I was down
You blame yourself, for what you can't ignore
You blame yourself for wanting more

~ The Smashing Pumpkins ('Zero' 1996)

"Death is the mother of beauty." ~ Wallace Stevens ('Sunday Morning')

Sure, I have been known to wallow in my sadness in the past but it has given me a beauty and death - I mean depth - that I treasure. I see too many people running away from their shadows, being chased by what they deny in themselves, in their desire for permanent happiness. As a result, their consciousness remains limited because it is not being stretched. The caterpillar refuses to enter the cocoon of self-transformation. Meanwhile, it pretends that everything is just dandy and waves its stubbly little tentacles around as though they were wings. Then again, I was pretty much shoved into the pit of despair upon arrival on his planet so I never really had much of a choice!

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.” ~ Helen Keller.

“Any moment of great happiness will also be a great moment of sadness.” ~ Osho

“Life consists of sadness too. And sadness is also beautiful; it has its own depth, its own delicacy, its own deliciousness, its own taste. A man is poorer if he has not known sadness; he is impoverished, very much impoverished. His laughter will be shallow, his laughter will not have depth, because depth comes only through sadness. A man who knows sadness, if he laughs, his laughter will have depth. His laughter will have something of his sadness too, his laughter will be more colourful.” ~ Osho

“Happiness is always shallow; sadness, always deep. Happiness is like a wave, sadness is like the innermost depth of an ocean. In sadness you remain with yourself, left alone. In happiness you start moving with people, you start sharing. In sadness you close your eyes; you delve deep within yourself. Sadness has a song - a very deep phenomenon is sadness. Accept it. Enjoy it. Taste it without any rejection, and you will see that it brings many gifts to you which no happiness can ever bring.”
~ Osho

“If you can accept sadness, it is no more sadness. You have brought a new quality to it. You will grow through it. Now it will not be a stone, a rock on the path blocking the way; it will become a step. And remember always: a person who has not known deep sadness is a poor person. He will never have an inner richness. A person who has lived always happy, smiling, shallow, has not entered into the innermost temple of his being. He has missed the innermost shrine.” ~ Osho

“Remember, one who enjoys more is bound to suffer more because he becomes very sensitive. But suffering is not bad. If you understand it rightly, suffering is a cleansing. If you understand it rightly, sadness has a depth to it which no happiness can ever have. A person who is simply happy is always superficial. A person who has not known sorrow and has not known sadness, has not known the depths. He has not touched the bottom of his being; he has remained just on the periphery. One has to move within these two banks. Within these two banks flows the river.” ~ Osho

"Know the Light but keep the dark." ~ Laozi

“The only people I would care to be with now are artists and people who have suffered: those who know what beauty is, and those who know what sorrow is: nobody else interests me.” ~ Oscar Wilde

When the roots of suffering are deep enough the flower of the heart can reach full bloom. We must release the pain and anguish and allow ourselves to ascend back to the Light supported by the strength and wisdom of the soil in which our suffering once imprisoned our minds. The roots are there but we focus on the sun and expanding to express our full potential as creative and loving individuals. This is how we become balanced, by allowing the Light to shine through us and illumine the world around us. Lasting happiness is a state of elevated consciousness beyond duality and St Germain assured me that this is achievable. I guess he means as the Light body is more and more activated (and finally reaches the 13th level).

"The greatest gift you can ever give another person is your own happiness." ~ Esther Abraham-Hicks

Developing the Feeling Nature

By White Eagle
Channelled through Grace Cooke

“This soul of the earth is created by pain and travail. You may not agree because you do not comprehend the full meaning of what is called pain. Pain is joy. You can feel pain with exceeding joy. Do you not know the exquisite feeling of joy which is pain to you? Great happiness, exceeding happiness, can be painful. Pain and joy are akin to each other, being two separate aspects of the same thing, being light and shade, both springing from the same principle. Through the human being undergoing pain the soul goes through its formation, and is strengthened and built up.

Once you know this you will not shrink from any experience. You will learn to welcome pain when once you understand what pain can do, what pain actually is. For pain is creating, is beautifying the soul by developing the power to feel; developing intuition, that sixth sense which will become universal in the new age, and will give vision into other worlds, and will bring through into the mind of earth, into the outer self, a consciousness of truths universal, of heavenly life.

The individual cannot find God by intellect alone. People are trying so to do at the present time, however. Many are seeking to intellectualise God; but no-one, we repeat, can find God through the intellect alone. Everyone has to go through a development of their soul, their feelings and their love first. You can only lastingly find God through life, through your feelings, through your soul; so that the soul becomes like a bridge between heaven and earth, bringing humanity back again to God.

The soul is the bridge. It enables the child of earth to contact God gain. We are trying to convey the nature of this divine Trinity of Father, Mother and Son, the perfect and holy Trinity of life. We are endeavouring to show the necessity for that marriage or union between spirit and soul to take place within every human being.

It is the woman aspect, the Divine Mother aspect, which is the tenderness, the love and the gentleness of life, the tenderness without which spiritual death must ensue. Do you see the importance of woman’s place in the scheme of things? First let us say that women, those wh are in the highly-privileged position on earth of being in a woman’s body with womanly qualities, have great responsibilities. They do not all recognise such responsibilities, for they allow their lower or weaker self to take possession of them instead of realising their noble and divine attribute, the attribute of the Divine Mother. The work of the woman in you – whether you are physically a mother or not in this world – is to give love and motherhood, to mother all life; to express motherhood with tender love and sympathy – and with wisdom, which is as important as the love. Finding the woman within you, you must endeavour to develop the qualities of the Divine Mother. Can you see that the Divine Mother is herself the soul of humanity? It is the soul, and the soul is the intermediary between the individual self and the First Principle or Will of God.

When you arise and manifest the dignity of the divine principle that is behind womanhood, wars will cease because the soul (or the woman) desires neither strife nor war. The soul is peace-loving; the soul yearns for beauty, harmony and perfection; the soul, being intuitive, can look into the future desiring to protect the race, not to destroy it. We speak most earnestly to all women, urging them to develop the qualities of the noble, the holy Mary, the mother aspect.

With the blending of soul and spirit the perfect being is born, the one who is capable of taking the Christ initiation, who is capable of crucifying the lower self, crucifying matter, dispensing with the lower form of matter. You do not understand what this means yet, but we will just say at this moment that the crucifixion of matter, the dispensing with matter, means that a time will come when the Christ child, born form the two great Principles of Life [Mother and Father], will rule matter, will rule the earth, and its darkness will be no more. For the earth’s vibrations will become so etherealised, so harmonised, that it will be a world of light.”

(The Light Bringer. The Ray of John and the Age of Intuition. The White Eagle Publishing Trust, Liss, UK, 2001, p.60-62).

“If only you could check yourselves, and stop being sorrowful and grumbling! We know that you have sorrows; that you witness the sufferings of others. We who see a little deeper recognise a strange beauty beneath the sufferings of humanity. Behind every experience, every sorrow, every saddening, sordid thing there is a reason, a great purpose. Some day, somewhere, somehow you will know that there is no difference between intense sorrow and intense joy. A mystery of the spirit? Yes: you cannot understand these things no, but when you have learned the lesson, understanding will come.

We give you hope. You are marching forward; the earth pane, the earth planet as a whole, moves forward with its whole being towards becoming itself like a sun. Earth’s humanity has awakened, and slowly, almost imperceptibly, humanity responds and raises itself, even as a child stirs in the womb. The earth is surely moving towards its own birth: it will become spiritualised, so that its very crust, its outer substance, is changed and transcended.

In the same way, human life moves towards such a birth. It moves into glory, into freedom. Every experience brings to humanity growth towards spiritual consciousness. Nothing is wasted in life: no experience whatsoever. However hard the lessons have been for you, and maybe at this moment are, may it comfort and inspire you to be told that they are worthwhile. Humanity makes progress: it does not regress, and every method used to bring about this birth into the spiritual life is necessary. Look out upon the world as it is with tolerance and love and hope. There is no death! Progress, progress, progress…growth; a life-force forever moving onward, forward into the Sun. Hope!”

The Dark Goddess and Her Virtues

By Eorthan Madame

1 September 2008, The Phoenix Feathers

The Dark Goddess exemplifies the crone, and the role of the crone in our daily lives. She teaches us the wisdom that can come from death, and that we are all intertwined with this process. Death, decay, destruction; it all seems horrific- until you take a moment to look closer at what it really is. We can have no life, without death. ...We can have no experience without wisdom, or else we in turn become the fool. To allow her deep and dark fingers to reach into your life, is asking to understand her and therefore yourself and the universe from a perspective that can teach you wisdom, strength, and compassion.

To reject her, is to create a chamber where your cauldron can boil aimlessly until it spills over. It is a great opportunity that we have to accept into our lives the wisdom of the crone, the healing power of the wielding the dark goddess within ourselves, and the ability to come to acceptance with our true sense of self. We can’t all have happy experiences, and sometimes the worst experiences we have had in our lives cannot be mended with happiness and light, even if it is well meant.

Sometimes, I’m willing to bet we need someone to pull back the vines that have grown over our hearts in anger. Sometimes we need someone to yell, raise our voices, and release our deepest resentments because we need to let go of it or face boiling over in a situation that we’re not going to be proud of (and that’s never pretty).

Embracing the Dark Goddess, in her deepest essence, is one way to come to peace with the universe if we ourselves are struggling to understand the pain and grief it has shown us. It’s hard to admit for most beginning practitioners that the majority of our lives are shaped simply by how we react to our own experiences, and whether we are able to stride on.

When we do allow ourselves to fall into the darkness, we can choose to embrace this darkness and understand what purpose it serves, or we can choose to dwell within it like a sad and spoiled child. The latter choices means rejecting the opportunity to change the fact that we ourselves are unhappy with the choices we have made. This is a chance to irradiate ourselves, and purge our negativity so that we can be who we want to be and whom we are without continually feeling guilt, sorrow, and regret.

The flipside of the coin here is that if you can’t embrace your own dark side, you will instead be easily controlled by it in your everyday life. That which we never can allow to heal within ourselves will seek to control our choices, and continue the cycles of abuse, neglect, and disrespect we have experienced. But with a good partner, or a great friend you can uncover your own insecurities, and ask for lovingly critical feedback about what others see in you.

Or ask the dark goddess herself to pull the veil from your eyes so that you can see yourself clearly as no more and no less than who you really are. This process, done lovingly and with respect will also open your eyes a little wider to see and acknowledge others for who they are, and not who they pretend to be. When you can see yourself clearly, and those around you clearly, you are in balance with the universe and can therefore have a clearer connection with your own psychic sense.

When we wear wool over our eyes, out of fear of having to face our own realities? We suffer, and the connections we have around us will suffer as well. To acknowledge, accept, respect, and come to love the dark goddess within us all means exploring the world with a sense of wisdom that few possess. Through utilizing the dark goddesses we can come to understand her will, as well as refining our own sense of self-control and will power.

To know her, is to know ourselves, which is the greatest knowledge that we can possess as a witch. If you understand your greatest weaknesses, you can transform yourself to connect with your own will instead of letting it conquer you!

    Egyptian Quote of the Year

"I arise on wings of aspiration to Thee, O Isis. Come, descend from above, arise from below, expand from within—and fill me, Goddess. From the rising bud of the lotus, to the mighty branch of the sycamore, to the Moon and Sun which are Thine eyes, to the Stars which entwine Thy hair, all the Universe is Thine, Isis—as am I. O Isis, Goddess, Mother, Sister, Queen—the Ways are open unto Thee—I am open unto Thee"

    ~ Ancient Hermetic Prayer

    through Ashamarae, 2009

"In the quiet moments of our lives lie courage. In the everyday steps we take is courage. In love is courage. In being different dwells courage. In the cry against injustice lives courage. In the stepping up to responsibility lies courage. In reaching out to others is courage. If I've learned anything about courage and intuition it is that they demand that we live in the moment without preconceptions of how life should be." ~ Judith Orloff

“God is not far away from us, but we are far away from God, and the only reason is our insensitivity.” – Osho

“My whole teaching consists of two words, meditation and love. Meditate so that you canfeel immense silence, and love so that your life can become a song, a dance, a celebration. You will have to move between the two, and if you can move easily, if you can move without any effort, you have learned the greatest thing in life.” – Osho (Come, Come, Yet Again Come).

“A real Master is not a teacher: a real Master is an awakener. His function is totally different from a teacher; his function is far more difficult. And only very few people can stay with a Master because to wake up after millions of lives is not an ordinary feat; it is a miracle. And to allow somebody to wake you up needs great trust, great surrender.” - Osho

"The moment you start seeing life as non-serious, a playfulness, all the burden on your heart disappears. All the fear of death, of life, of love - everything disappears." - Osho

“Whatsoever you are, there is nothing wrong with it. Love and relationship has not to be destroyed; only meditation has to be added to it.” - Osho

"The head is a marketplace, the heart is the shrine of being. All that is beautiful and true arises out of the heart, never out of the head." - Osho

“I do not ordinarily make prophecies, but about this I am absolutely prophetic: the coming hundred years are going to be more and more irrational, and more and more mystical. The second thing: After a hundred years people will be perfectly able to understand why I was misunderstood — because I am the beginning of the mystical, the irrational. I am a discontinuity with the past. The past cannot understand me; only the future will understand. The past can only condemn me. It cannot understand me, it cannot answer me, it cannot argue with me; it can only condemn me. Only the future…as man becomes more and more available to the mysterious, to the meaningless yet significant…After a hundred years they will understand. Because the more man becomes aware of the mysterious side of life, the less he is political; the less he is a Hindu, a Mohammedan, a Christian; the less is the possibility for his being a fanatic. A man in tune with the mysterious is humble, loving, caring, accepting the uniqueness of everybody. He is rejoicing in the freedom of each individual, because only with freedom can this garden of humanity be a rich place.” – Osho (The Osho Upanishad).

“Water is the only drink for a wise man.” ~ Henry David Thoreau

    How to Charge your Water:

Each one try this, and if you do not feel results at first, just go on, for you certainly will as you use it more and more:

"'I AM' the Presence charging this water with the Life-giving Essence which I absorb and which renews my body in Perfect Health and Eternal Youth."

I also used this to charge the water that makes up my body - I placed my hands on my body stating:

"'I AM' the Presence charging the water in this body with the Life-giving Essence which I absorb and which renews my body in Perfect Health and Eternal Youth."

Another way from Quan Yin to charge water:

"With these hands and with this Heart and through the pure intention of God, this water (food) is blessed, removing and transmuting all impurities forever. God Bless this water (food). Thank you, thank you, thank you."

7th-dimensional tool from St Germain for energising the water in our bodies and the earth

    (Our water is under attack!)

"In a world filled with hate - we must still dare to hope!
In a world filled with anger - we must still dare to comfort!
In a world filled with despair - we must still dare to dream!
And in a world filled with distrust - we must still dare to believe."
    - Michael Jackson

Love is what matters. Indigo must shift to Crystal, to full consciousness. By demonstrating unconditional love in all his dealings with people and under all pressure Michael passed on to the summit of the astral realms. John Lennon - referring to himself as an ascended master - introduced him as 'Moonwalker' in the channelling circle I was in for a brief time. So he is a powerful guide and through continued loving service to humanity will soon ascend to the 5th dimension himself.

"What we need to learn from children isn't childish. Being with them connects us to the deeper wisdom of life which is ever-present and only asks to be lived. They know the way to solutions that lie waiting to be recognised within our own heart. Today, I would like to thank all the children of the world including the sick and deprived. I am so sensitive to your pain." - Michael Jackson (at the 35th Annual Grammy Awards, 24 February 1993, Los Angeles, California).

"The whole world abounds in magic. When a whale plunges out of the sea like a newborn mountain, you gasp in unexpected delight. What magic! But a toddler who sees his first tadpole flashing in a mud puddle feels the same thrill. Wonder fills the heart, because he has glimpsed for an instant the playfulness of life." - Michael Jackson (From 'Magic,' Dancing The Dream, 1992)

“We have to heal our wounded world. The chaos, despair and senseless destruction we see today are the result of the alienation that people feel from each other and their environment. Often this alienation has its roots in an emotionally deprived childhood. Children have had their childhood stolen from them. A child’s mind needs the nourishment of mystery, magic, wonder and excitement. I want my work to help people rediscover the child that’s hiding in them.” – Michael Jackson (Dancing the Dream, 1992, p.80).

"And my goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance." - Michael Jackson

    Breathe deeply!

Breathing fully means that we are allowing our connection to the Source. Shallow breathing is a sign of denial of, and resistance to, our Divinity

"Fill yourselves with love, with joy. Breathe in the prana. Breathe deeply. The prana is once again available to you, in such magnitudes as you have not known since Atlantis. It is the Elixir of Light, it is the Love of all Creation, it is the Adamantine Particles, it is the foundation of all life, all Creation. You have The All available to you, by simply breathing deeply throughout your day. A gift from the Creator. Take advantage of this blessed gift and breathe deeply, Dear Ones. You will lift yourselves up once again to the heights which you are soon to experience, a civilisation far surpassing Atlantis, as this time, there will be no darkness. There will be no misuse of power. You have come through the darkness and are emerging into the light and the light will allow no darkness. That Dear Ones is the beauty of the Now Moment which you are entering. You have succeeded and you will live and breathe the Love and the light and the joy and the peace and harmony, and you will experience the abundance which is your Divine birthright." - Archangel Michael (channelled through Michelle Coutant, ‘Claim Your Personal Power & Be the Love of Your Sacred Heart,’ 29 June 2010)

    Love is all there is

    Love is all

    Love is

    Don't be a stranger

It's cold outside, There's no kind of atmosphere, I'm all alone, More or less. Let me fly, Far away from here, Fun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun.

I want to lie, Shipwrecked and comatoase, Drinking fresh, Mango juice, Goldfish shoals, Nibbling at my toes, Fun, fun, fun, In the sun, sun, sun, Fun, fun, fun,In the sun, sun, sun.

    (Red Dwarf theme tune)
